Our aim is to become a leading provider of bioethanol to the European transport fuels market. Made from natural products such as wheat and sugar beet, bioethanol offers a renewable and environmentally friendly alternative to oil for petrol driven vehicles.

The Group will produce bioethanol using wheat predominantly sourced from Europe as a feed stock. It plans to build a number of world scale plants in Europe. Such fuels will result in improved air quality, lower carbon emissions and a reduction in green house gas emissions.

Ensus will move to establish itself as a significant independent European bioethanol producer, focusing on creating value for its shareholders through a strategy based on:

 Strong strategic partners that have the ability to support the growth aspirations of the Group;

 Establishing a low cost base by developing world scale plants in locations that can offer existing transport and utilities infrastructure;

 Maintaining flexibility to allow feedstock to be acquired at competitive prices and bioethanol to be cost effectively produced by locating production plants close to ports with access to international markets;
