Sir Rob Margetts, CBE, FREng, FIChemE
Chairman
Rob is Chairman of Legal & General Group PLC, Ensus Limited, Energy Technologies Institute and Senior Independent Director of Anglo American PLC. He is also Chairman-Europe of Huntsman Corporation. He was also Chairman of the BOC Group PLC from 2002 to September 2006; Chairman of the Natural Environment Research Council and a member of the Council for Science and Technology. He joined ICI in 1969 and held a number of global technical, operational and business management positions before joining the Main Board in 1992 and becoming Vice Chairman in 1998.

Michael Fox
Deputy Chairman & Business Development Director
Michael was a founding shareholder and the CEO of GTL Resources Plc, whose principal activity was the development of alternative fuel projects, culminating in the acquisition and financing of a 50 million gallon Bioethanol project in Illinois, USA, with first production expected Q4 2007. Michael left GTL in October 2005 to focus on the European bioethanol market. He has been involved in two listings on AIM and has led a number of large project financings from the client side. Prior to GTL his background was in oil services, initially based in Aberdeen, but with extensive placements overseas.

Alwyn Hughes
CEO
Alwyn worked for the majority of his career in ICI holding a number of senior roles. These included: supporting the Group CEO and CFO in developing corporate strategies and driving performance across the company; leading ICI’s International Methacrylates and REC business; Group Purchasing where he was responsible for delivering cost savings across the company’s £8 billion spend. Prior to this he held a number of supply chain, operations and engineering roles. Before joining Ensus, he led the European arm of Elance, a venture capital funded software-purchasing company.

David Botterill
Finance Director
David is a Chartered Certified Accountant and for the past 16 years he has been involved in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech industry in a number of senior finance roles based in Europe and the United States spending most of that time with Cambrex Corporation. Prior to joining Ensus, David was Group Finance Director for a privately owned chemical company.

Robert Easton
Non-Executive Director of Ensus Group
Managing Director, The Carlyle Group
Robert is a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group focused on European buyout opportunities in the industrial and chemical sectors. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2000, Robert was Vice President of Corporate Development at Invensys plc with responsibility for the execution of acquisitions and disposals. Robert was a key figure in the mid-nineties transformation of BTR from a diversified conglomerate to a focused engineering group and, following the merger of BTR and Siebe to form Invensys in 1999. Robert joined BTR in 1996 from Trafalgar House, another major U.K. engineering group where he was Director of Corporate Finance and Planning Robert previously worked in investment banking at CSFB and Wasserstein Perella.

Stephen Schaefer

Managing Director of Riverstone
Stephen has been actively involved in the energy industry for the past 12 years. He has bought or sold power generation facilities, trading companies, Mid-Stream natural gas assets and regulated gas and electric utilities both in the U.S. and abroad. He has been involved in transactions involving more than 14,000 MW and an aggregated transaction value in excess of $8.5 billion. Prior to joining Riverstone, Stephen was a Managing Director with Huron Consulting Group, where he headed its Energy Practice. While at Huron, Stephen served as interim CEO for a merchant generation company. He advised buyers, bank groups and creditors committees regarding power assets, including the Mirant and National Energy Group bankruptcies. Prior to joining Huron, Stephen was Vice President of Acquisitions and Divestitures for Duke Energy. Before joining Duke, he served as Vice President of LG & E International and Director of Business Development for LG & E Energy Corporation. previously, Stephen was Manager of Financial Advisory services for Ernst & Young in New York.

Robert Coxon
Non-Executive Director of Ensus Group
Robert assists Carlyle in developing strategy and identifying investments in the chemicals and process industry sectors. In addition to his role as a Carlyle Senior Advisor, Robert is Chairman of Scott Bader, an international polymer and resin company, Non-Executive Director of AZ Electronic Materials, Non-Executive Director of Stahl, Chairman of the UK Center for Process Innovation- an international research center in supercritical fluids, electronic materials and bio processing. He is Deputy Chairman of the University of Durham and Chairman of Durham Castle, a World Heritage Site, Chairman of the NE Process Industry Cluster representing over 300 companies in the process industry and a Non-Executive Director of The Whitehall & Industry Group. Robert is a member of the UK Chemistry Leadership Council formed to advise the U.K. government on the chemical industry. Prior to joining Carlyle, Robert was Senior Vice President of ICI and CEO of Synetix, a world leading catalyst company.

Karen de Segundo
Senior Non-executive Director
Karen has spent most of her career with Shell where she has held a variety of high profile roles including Executive Vice-President of Oil Products in Brazil, CEO Shell International Gas & Power, Chairman Shell International Coal and most recently CEO of Shell Renewables and President of Shell Hydrogen. Karen is currently on the Board of Directors of Merrill Lynch New Energy Technology Plc, Koninklijke Ahold NV, Pöyry Oyj and Lonmin Plc and the Eco Advisory Board of General Electric.

Catherine Bell, CB
Non-executive Director
Catherine has wide experience at board level in the public, private and regulated sectors. Catherine has led the Department of Trade and Industry as Permanent Secretary focussing on the strategic challenges of globalisation and sustainable economic development. Catherine is currently a non-executive director of Swiss Reinsurance GB and the Civil Aviation Authority, and sits on the Membership Selection Panel for Network Rail.

Sandy Anderson
Chairman Ensus UK
Sandy has extensive experience in the process industry - for a time he was responsible for ICI operations on Teesside, which included the Wilton Site. He has held a variety of high profile ICI roles including Senior Vice President Technology, Director of Engineering, General Manager Teesside Operations, Operations Director for the Tioxide Group and Director of ICI Pakistan Ltd.

In addition to these roles Sandy has also held a number of local appointments and directorships including Chairman of the Teesside Training Enterprise, Chairman of Teesside Tomorrow Limited, Director of Teesside Development Corporation, Chairman of the South Durham NHS Acute Trust and most recently as Non Executive Director for the Centre for Process Innovation. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and is currently Chairman of the University of Teesside.
